One
of the most abused electrical devices used on the internal combustion engine is
the starter. It’s expected to start your vehicle no matter what the outside
temperature is, irregardless of battery charge and no matter what shape of tune
the engine is. While it is meant for
only brief operation, it’s used to crank the motor over for extended periods of
time, sometimes creating so much heat internally that the solder inside the
starter that is used to connect the various electrical circuits, melts and is thrown
out of the places where it is rightly suppose to be and then fail.
Well
we have a number of solutions for those problems. We can fix the old one or
replace it with a higher performing unit in most cases for less money that an
exchange unit.
