3 Ended Football

We decided to call this area "3 ended football", because we work on a lot of unusual projects that as one of our employees remarked, "that's as queer as a three ended football".

A customer of ours has a wilderness lodge and uses this 12volt alternator that is powered by a local stream to keep the batteries charged which in turn powers an inverter which supplies power to the lodge. Rather than waiting for the unit to fail, the customer brings it in every few years for preventative maintenance.

His lights are on in more ways than one.

Another customer of ours has a beautiful 68 Shelby Mustang Pro Modified drag race car, which uses an Allan Root aluminum block and has an unusual starter requirement. It uses a Hitachi starter with a modified chevrolet nose piece that bolts to the modified midplate between the Ford engine and the Lenco transmission. It's a "one off" starter, so they are very reliant on the reliability of the starter. As they have told us, "We have taken it to local rebuilders, but they just don't seem to know what they are doing, that's why we use Amperage Technology.

When overhauled.
